Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is my favourite holiday. Chinese New Year is the start of a new year and everyone is very happy. The would also be a lot of food such as new year goodies and nuts. These food were believed to be very auspicious and thus everyone eats these food during Chinese New Year. With all the food, the atmosphere would be even better with everyone talking and laughing at the same time. There would also be people wishing each other a happy new year. We would visit our relatives and receive red packets. Then, we would stay at my grandmother's place and stay up till midnight.
